A Community Life Center is designed to be a bridge between a life of emptiness and the abundant life Christ promised his followers; between Christians and those they wish to reach for Christ; between a church and its community. Any local church can impact its community economically, socially, and spiritually by sponsoring a Community Life Center. A CLC could provide new church plants with a worship and activity center, as well as a natural bridge to the people they seek to reach.

Because many communities are experiencing downtown "blight" with empty storefront building, such locations may be easy to find and affordable to rent or buy. Community Life Centers sponsored by established churches would preferably be off-campus and could be owned or leased by the church.

* believers can leverage the love of Christ into the community

* the church becomes an insider in the community

If there are any poor in your towns.... do not be hard-hearted or tight-fisted toward them. Instead, be generous and lend them whatever they need. ...Give freely without begrudging it, and the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.
